Creative freedom
Powerful tools should expand an idea, not decide what it must become.
About Arpivo
Arpivo is a complete browser-based music studio founded on one simple belief: creativity should be open, private and free to explore.
A blank canvas does not tell an artist what to paint. A music studio should offer the same freedom.
Why it exists
Making music can be playful, precise, spontaneous or deeply technical, often all in the same session. Arpivo brings arrangement, sequencing, instruments, sampling, mixing, automation and export into one focused workspace that opens in a browser.
There is no account to create, no subscription to maintain and no artificial ceiling on how much you can use it. Your projects stay local, your exports stay yours, and the software is ready whenever inspiration appears.
The principles behind the product
Powerful tools should expand an idea, not decide what it must become.
Your unfinished work is personal. Arpivo keeps it in your browser by design.
The music you create belongs to you, with the freedom to release and share it.
A refined creative tool should feel immediate at first and rewarding as your skills grow.
The person behind Arpivo
I’m Andy Black, the creator and founder of Arpivo.
I came of age in the 1990s, when electronic music was surging through clubs, record shops and home studios. House, trance and the wider club scene made those years unforgettable. As a DJ enthusiast and home-studio producer, I fell in love with the freedom of that musical landscape: a few sounds, a spark of imagination and the chance to build something entirely your own.
That feeling stayed with me. Later, as a software developer and online entrepreneur, I kept returning to one idea: what if anyone could open a capable music studio instantly and start creating, regardless of their experience, budget or equipment?
Arpivo grew from that ambition. I set out to build a fully functional, web-based electronic music studio that asks for no installation, account or subscription. It gives people the tools to shape complete tracks, keeps their work under their control and places no limits on how often they can create.
Arpivo is my way of handing everyone a blank musical canvas. The tools are ready. What it becomes is entirely up to you.
